UPA arranges polo in Argentina for students: a fourteen-day polo holiday at El Metejón Polo Resort in Cañuelas, an hour from Buenos Aires and the heartland of the world’s finest polo. Sixteen places, daily polo lessons with professionals, nearly sixty chukkers, and a rate reserved exclusively for university students.

Hi,
As a polo player at the University of St Andrews, I will be the first to admit how addictive, and what serious fun, a good game of polo is. I started playing just two years ago. Arena polo in Europe taught me the basics, but it wasn’t until I played on grass at El Metejón that everything clicked. I went on to win Beginner 1 and Novice 1 at the SUPA Summer Nationals, and I put that down to the hours I made in Argentina.
So I created UPA to give other students that same chance, without the price tag that usually comes with it. Together with El Metejón, we have designed a complete two-week programme exclusively for university students: structured coaching and serious polo, match play included, mixed with shared activities for everyone.
The idea is simple: experience polo at its source, connect with peers from around the world, and be part of building the next generation of players. There is no better place to do this than Argentina.
All levels and handicaps are welcome, from beginners to dedicated university players. Come on your own and leave with a team, or bring yours with you.
